L2 Pride Server Rules
THESE RULES APPLIES TO ALL PLAYERS ON THE SERVER, IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOUR STATUS IS OR HOW LONG YOU BEEN PLAYING ON L2PRIDE. FAIL TO FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN PUNISHMENT AS WE SEE FIT.
In-Game
• Botting – No botting or any third party programs. Don’t use your brother/cousin to farm.
• Using macro for farm – It’s not allowed to create a farm macro and keep the button pressed with an object while you are not in front of the computer. Any character found moving without a person controlling it will be punished.
• Dual clients/boxing – You may not control two characters or more to help farm, heal, buff or to assist in PvP. The only exception to this would be that of using a secondary character to use as a seller in Giran or for trading items between accounts (only in town). Controlling two or more characters by only one person is considered dual box. It doesn’t matter if they are physically two different computers or different IPs.
• Impersonate Staff – Please do it so we can ban you.
• PvP Farm – You are not allow to farm PvPs.
• Spam – Pretty much self-explanatory.
• Flaming – Do it tastefully, don’t be dumb and flame staff members. You will regret it.
• Advertise – Advertising other server is forbidden, advertising you have items from other server wanting to trade for L2Pride items is forbidden.
• False Bot Reports – Only use it when you are sure.
• Account Responsibly – You are responsible for your account, we do not reimburse items no matter what happened to your account. You are risking your account, if you are sharing it with friends/family members, playing at unsecured PCs, or playing at a internet cafe. Any petitions asking for help will be ignored.
• Chat – Hero/Trade/Shout is English only. Do not asked to be recalled/party or ask a GM to speak to you, that is what the petition system is for. Don’t ask to unban/unchat ban/unjail a player. Do not ask for events.
• Bugs – If a bug is found, you must report it immediately.
• Do not annoy GMs – Please don’t bother GMs constantly asking for help, we aren’t here to hold your hands as you journey through L2, you should know basic game mechanics.
• Olympiad – You’re only allow 1 character per player. Meaning, you join on that character you are only allow to compete that character, you may not compete on an alt character or a friend’s character.
Our GMs are intelligent enough to know when you are botting, dual boxing, violating server rules. We are not require to show evidences of wrongdoing to the general public. If mistakes were made we will correct it. We aren’t afraid to admit we made a mistake.
Forums
• Language – English is the universal language on the forums outside of International Language section. Basic English is required before making a post.
• Spam – Do not response with “first” or “+1″
• Safe for work – The forums is safe for the work place. No porn images/videos or shock/gore images.
• Don’t go off topic – Do not derail someone’s topic. If you need to make a post do it in the right section.
• Proper thread titles – When making a thread, avoid titling your thread, “Help me!, about……., check it please, man why do this, etc.”
• Post it in the right section – Self-explanatory.
• Appealing your punishment – If you received a punishment in game do not make a thread in every section of the forums.
• Trash talking – You want to talk thrash, do it with some intelligence. Don’t just make thread about how you defile someone’s family member. We are internationally diverse, everyone is allow to play here. We don’t judge.
• Trading – You may not ask to trade for other server’s items. You may not sell your items for real currency. The trade section is for selling/buying/trading for L2Pride items. Don’t bump your thread if it’s still on the first page.
• Quote – Don’t make quote trains, those are annoying.
• Search Functions - Use it please.
• Avatar & Signatures – Have common sense for your images, if its too big we will ask you do resize it.
IRC Channel
• Username – Use your in-game name or your forum name.
• Ban Evasion – You will regret it.
• Impersonating L2Pride Staff or IRC ops – Not a smart thing to do.
• Spam – Don’t spam links or repeat text. Don’t spam GMs or IRC ops in
private message.
• Language – English is the only language in IRC, sorry.
• NFSW – Don’t post your link if it contain porn or gore.
• Flaming – If you planning to flame or talk thrash, remember those rules.
